Head of Finance (CFO) – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Finance (CFO) to lead the finance function for a fast‑growing international brand based in Dubai. The successful candidate will shape the finance organisation, drive strategic initiatives and support the company’s expansion across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance function for UAE and international operations, overseeing consolidation, statutory reporting and financial governance.
• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
• Manage treasury, cash‑flow, banking relationships and financing structures.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Dutch GAAP, tax regulations and transfer‑pricing requirements.
• Support M&A activities, including due diligence, integration and post‑acquisition finance.
• Drive ERP optimisation, process improvements and digital transformation initiatives.
• Build, mentor and scale the finance team while establishing robust finance processes.
• Provide strategic financial insights to senior management and shareholders.

Required profile

• 12‑20+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (CFO, Finance Director, Group Financial Controller or equivalent).
• Experience managing international, multi‑entity operations.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, ACA, CMA, MBA Finance or equivalent; additional certifications in treasury, corporate finance or M&A are a plus.
• Background in container trading, shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, leasing, commodity trading or other asset‑intensive sectors.
