Head of Finance

About the role

The Head of Finance will lead financial management across the firm’s fund entities and management company, driving operational excellence and strategic decision‑making for a venture‑capital focused organization operating in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations, including budgeting, audits, forecasting, capital planning and compliance.
• Develop and implement scalable, technology‑driven finance processes.
• Design analytical frameworks to support investment decisions, fund optimisation, DPI & IRR balance, exit discipline and fund structuring.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with banks, brokerages and tax advisors.
• Prepare and deliver investor reporting, liaise with LPs, auditors and legal counsel, and translate complex fund dynamics into clear insights for non‑finance stakeholders.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 2 years in private equity or venture capital.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in a large, structured finance organisation.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong verbal and written communication, executive stakeholder management and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in high‑stakes, time‑sensitive environments.
