Head of Finance

About the role

A dynamic Head of Finance is sought, based in Dubai, to lead and optimise the organisation's financial operations. The role covers cash flow management, treasury, financial planning and analysis, and digital finance initiatives, partnering with senior leadership on strategic decisions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily cash flow forecasting and liquidity management to optimise working capital
• Manage treasury operations, including banking relationships, investments and debt facilities
• Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting
• Drive the implementation and adoption of digital finance tools and platforms
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to executive leadership
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, IFRS standards and corporate policies
• Support strategic initiatives, mergers, acquisitions and business expansion with cross-functional teams
• Develop and mentor a finance team and promote continuous process improvement

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• 4-6 years of progressive finance experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
• Proven expertise in cash flow management and treasury operations
• Advanced knowledge of IFRS and UAE financial regulations
• Preferred: Master's degree, MBA or professional certification (CFA, ACCA); experience in a multinational or start-up environment; familiarity with regional banking products and Islamic finance; experience leading finance transformation or ERP projects; fluency in English and Arabic
