Head of Financial Operations, Crypto

About the role

Capitalcom is seeking a senior leader to build and run the financial operations of its crypto business across multiple regulated jurisdictions. This hands‑on position will own finance controls, accounting, treasury, tax, reporting and regulatory compliance for all crypto entities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily finance operations, including reconciliations, month‑end close, inter‑company accounting and audit readiness.
• Define and maintain accounting policies for fiat and digital‑asset transactions (valuation, movement, impairment, revenue recognition).
• Manage treasury functions, liquidity, wallet controls, cash‑flow forecasting and counter‑party risk.
• Lead crypto‑to‑fiat conversion, custody and treasury workflow processes.
• Ensure tax compliance (corporate tax, VAT/GST, payroll, crypto taxable events) and coordinate with internal and external tax advisors.
• Support regulatory reporting obligations, including financial returns and prudential metrics.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, cost modelling and scenario planning to provide financial insights for business planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of finance experience, preferably in regulated financial services or crypto.
• Proven ability to design and implement finance systems and processes from scratch.
• Strong track record managing audit, tax and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on unit economics and profitability.
