Head of New Installation and Maintenance Services - Steam Turbine

About the role

Siemens Energy is looking for a Head of New Installation and Maintenance Services for steam turbine equipment across the Middle East. The role leads the installation and maintenance services business, overseeing project execution, workforce planning, resource allocation and operational performance across several countries, in close collaboration with regional and global stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Middle East steam turbine installation and maintenance services organization and develop regional strategies supporting business growth and customer needs.
• Oversee safe, on-time and cost-effective execution of new equipment installations, working with project, engineering, procurement and site teams.
• Manage the regional maintenance services portfolio, including outages, inspections, repairs, upgrades and long-term service agreements.
• Drive workforce planning, recruitment, competency development and resource optimization.
• Coordinate with regional and global teams to share resources, technical expertise and best practices.
• Monitor financial and operational performance, champion EHS and quality compliance, strengthen customer relationships and use digitalization to improve service delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering or a related discipline, with strong technical expertise in steam turbines, gas turbines, generators, compressors and associated auxiliary systems.
• 10-15 years of experience in field service, maintenance, installation, commissioning or project execution in the energy, turbomachinery, rotating equipment or industrial sectors.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience managing regional or multinational service teams, with proven success in workforce planning, staffing and resource deployment.
• Track record managing installation projects, maintenance operations, operational budgets and service KPIs, with strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Fluent English; extensive travel across the Middle East required; Arabic is an advantage.
