Head of Quality & Process Management (Emirati)

About the role

The government entity is looking for an experienced Emirati professional to lead its Quality & Process Management Section. The role focuses on driving quality initiatives, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with institutional excellence standards across all units.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor compliance with institutional excellence and quality standards across the organization.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives, create standardised methodologies and maintain process manuals.
• Oversee the annual operational plan, KPIs, projects and budgets, and provide regular performance reports.
• Conduct internal quality audits, review gap analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Manage quality programmes, certifications and maintain a database of awards and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to innovation, support strategic objectives and represent the department in internal and external committees.
• Provide input for budget preparation, monitor budget utilisation and prepare periodic reports.
• Lead, coach and develop the quality and process team, set objectives and identify training needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Process Improvement, Performance Management or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in government or semi‑government entities.
• Strong background in quality frameworks, process optimisation and performance management.
• Strategic thinking, leadership and strong analytical abilities.
