Head of Retail – Multi‑Brand Operations

About the role

The Head of Retail will steer a large‑scale, multi‑brand retail operation across the UAE and eventually the GCC. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be accountable for sales performance, profitability and retail excellence across more than 100 stores.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the retail strategy for fashion, footwear and lifestyle brands.
• Drive revenue, gross margin and overall profitability for a business generating over AED 500 million annually.
• Lead, coach and develop Area Managers and regional retail teams.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as sales, conversion, average transaction value, margin, stock management and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with merchandising, supply‑chain and warehousing functions to optimise inventory and store availability.
• Oversee new store openings, refurbishments and continuous operational improvements.
• Identify and implement process enhancements to boost productivity and commercial performance.
• Support regional expansion across the GCC in partnership with senior leadership.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience leading large‑scale retail operations.
• Strong background in fashion, footwear, home or lifestyle retail.
• Proven track record of managing extensive store networks and multi‑layer teams.
• Commercially focused with a history of delivering sales growth and profitability.
• Comfortable in fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environments.
• Experience with own‑brand retail businesses and store launch or transformation projects is a plus.
