Head of Talent Management

About the role

Independent Food Company is a fast‑growing hospitality group seeking a Head of Talent Management to design, implement and continuously improve its talent management framework. The role will ensure a high‑performing, engaged and future‑ready workforce that supports the company’s ambitious growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve the performance management framework, aligning individual objectives with departmental goals and business strategy.
• Lead annual goal‑setting, mid‑year reviews and year‑end appraisal cycles, coach managers on performance conversations and calibration.
• Develop and manage the succession planning framework, identify critical roles, assess readiness and maintain pipelines for executive, management and key operational positions.
• Design and run the High Potential (HiPo) program, establishing criteria, creating accelerated development journeys and measuring leadership readiness outcomes.
• Create and maintain company‑wide competency frameworks, embedding them in recruitment, development and assessment processes.
• Support organizational design, job evaluation, employee relations governance, engagement and recognition programs.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and implementing talent management frameworks in a fast‑growing organization.
• Proven ability to lead performance management, succession planning and high‑potential development initiatives.
• Strong coaching, stakeholder management and analytical skills to drive talent reviews and identify organizational trends.
