Health Coach

About the role

The Health Coach is a licensed healthcare professional who delivers personalised, evidence‑informed coaching to individuals participating in digital health, virtual care, workforce wellbeing, preventive health, weight‑management and chronic disease programmes. The role focuses on translating clinical goals into sustainable behavioural change through education, motivational interviewing, goal‑setting and regular follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalised, evidence‑informed health coaching across digital and in‑person channels.
• Support digital health, remote monitoring and chronic disease programmes using patient‑reported outcomes and wearable data.
• Coordinate care, manage escalations and protect patient safety in line with clinical governance.
• Drive engagement, monitor quality and improve programme performance.
• Maintain professional practice, clinical governance and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a recognised healthcare field meeting UAE Unified Healthcare Professional Qualification Requirements; postgraduate qualification or health‑coaching credential is desirable.
• Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience in health coaching, lifestyle intervention or chronic disease support, with demonstrated use of motivational interviewing, shared goal‑setting and action planning.
• Experience delivering one‑to‑one or group‑based behaviour‑change interventions and using digital, telephone, video or in‑person channels.
• Ability to document clinical activity, maintain confidentiality and recognise/escalate clinical or safety concerns.
