About the role
Amana Healthcare, part of the M42 network, is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join its long‑term care and rehabilitation team in Abu Dhabi. You will work directly with patients, providing daily support while upholding safety, dignity, and emotional well‑being in a multidisciplinary environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety.
- Monitor and report changes in physical and emotional condition.
- Provide emotional support and companionship, promoting dignity and respect.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive care environment.
- Follow infection‑control and safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with nurses and the multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized care.
Required profile
- Diploma in Nursing.
- Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in long‑term or post‑acute care.
- Valid DOH license.
- Basic knowledge of patient‑care safety practices.
- Compassionate, patient‑focused attitude with strong communication skills.
