Heart of House Specialist - Stewarding

About the role

The Heart of House Specialist supports essential hotel operations by ensuring cleanliness across kitchen, food & beverage, and laundry areas. This role prepares linen and dining ware, operates cleaning equipment, and transports items throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, clean linen and spotless dining ware for guest use.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, and linen washers/dryers.
• Transport dishware and linens across the hotel efficiently.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager.

Required profile

• Commitment to creating a safe workplace and following company policies.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and reaching overhead.
• Professional appearance, uniform compliance, and clear communication.
• Willingness to develop positive relationships with colleagues and respond to concerns.
