Heavy Vehicle Driver (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our logistics team in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for safely operating trucks and heavy vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment according to assigned schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Operate trucks and heavy vehicles safely while complying with all traffic and safety regulations.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and basic checks.
• Follow designated routes, delivery schedules, and maintain accurate delivery and log records.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, supervisors, and site personnel throughout each shift.
• Interact professionally with customers or site staff and represent the company positively.
• Report any mechanical issues, delays, or incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience driving heavy vehicles or trucks, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
• Valid CDL Class A or equivalent heavy‑vehicle licence meeting UAE regulatory requirements.
• Effective communication and customer‑service skills.
• Good knowledge of road‑safety regulations and defensive‑driving practices.
• Ability to read maps, delivery schedules and written instructions.
• Physical capability to load, unload, secure cargo and perform basic vehicle checks.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
