About the role

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, inquiry‑based Biology lessons to high‑school students.
• Design and implement creative teaching strategies that foster critical thinking and a love for science.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive, supportive learning environment.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs and ensure curriculum continuity.
• Promote an inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity.
• Participate in parent‑teacher conferences and maintain open communication about student progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education or a related degree with a teaching qualification (PGCE, State License, or equivalent) specializing in Biology.
• Proven experience teaching Biology at the high‑school level, preferably within an American or IB curriculum.
• Strong knowledge of inquiry‑based learning and practical science instruction.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
