High Speed Engine Commissioning Engineer

About the role

Everllence is seeking a High Speed Engine Commissioning Engineer to lead the full commissioning process of its high‑speed marine engines, such as the 175D model. You will work closely with shipyards, customers, and internal teams to ensure engines are ready for operation and meet all safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute pre‑commissioning checks, parameter validation, functional testing and support HAT/SAT phases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during commissioning and early operation.
• Verify installation quality with shipyards and confirm readiness for commissioning.
• Configure control systems, load software parameters and integrate auxiliary equipment.
• Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation, test sheets, checklists and redlines.
• Act as the primary technical interface for customers and shipyards, providing updates and recommendations.
• Coordinate activities with senior engineers, product centres, vendors and internal teams.
• Log job activities, parts usage and follow‑ups in SAP and produce commissioning reports.
• Participate in internal training, stay updated on product bulletins and support knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience with high‑speed engines, propulsion or power‑generation equipment.
• Hands‑on commissioning experience with marine or industrial engines.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities for control and monitoring systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, project guides and commissioning manuals.
• Experience working with shipyards or in demanding field environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Mechanical, Marine or Electrical Engineering.
• Willingness to travel extensively for commissioning assignments.
