Hook Up Engineer

About the role

The Hook Up Engineer supports the planning and execution of hook‑up activities on offshore and onshore projects. Working under moderate supervision, the engineer analyses straightforward technical issues, prepares documentation, and coordinates with multiple disciplines to ensure safe and efficient installation.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and apply the company’s Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies.
• Participate in pre‑engineering surveys and review construction drawings for constructability.
• Develop and issue final hook‑up work packs, task sheets, and schedules.
• Coordinate material requisitions, load‑out plans, and vendor deliveries to match the hook‑up schedule.
• Provide field guidance, monitor scope changes, and update DTCMS/CAT systems.
• Travel to onshore/offshore facilities to support project teams and ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Participate in HAZID discussions and incident investigations, reporting findings to senior engineers.
• Prepare technical reports, checklists, and progress updates for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Understanding of HSE policies and ability to work within a defined management system.
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings and specifications.
• Capability to manage documentation, material coordination, and schedule synchronization.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work in offshore environments.
