Hospital Cluster Audit Manager

About the role

PureHealth is seeking an Audit Manager to lead internal audits across a network of hospitals. You will oversee end‑to‑end audit engagements, mentor a capable team, and act as a trusted advisor to hospital leadership, driving performance, transparency and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead risk assessments and develop a risk‑based internal audit plan, targeting high‑impact operational areas.
• Manage and execute audits in line with IIA standards, creating risk and control matrices and audit testing programs.
• Evaluate governance, risk management and control effectiveness, delivering actionable recommendations and comprehensive audit reports to senior leadership.
• Conduct follow‑up reviews, special investigations on compliance or fraud, and ad‑hoc consulting projects to enhance hospital operations.
• Mentor and coach audit team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity and accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA or ACA.
• 8+ years of internal audit experience, preferably in healthcare or hospital settings.
• Strong knowledge of IIA standards and hospital operations, revenue cycle and quality processes.
• High integrity, independence and professional judgment.

• Audit tools such as ACL, Power BI, IDEA.
