About the role
As a Hostess at Marriott International, you will be the first point of contact for guests entering the dining area. You will guide them to their seats, ensure a welcoming atmosphere, and support smooth service throughout the restaurant.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, determine party size, and escort them to clean, appropriately set tables.
- Arrange tables, chairs, and settings, and organize seating for groups with special needs.
- Maintain up‑to‑date, clean, and wrinkle‑free menus and ensure all place settings are complete.
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, safety, and overall guest well‑being.
- Practice clean‑as‑you‑go procedures to keep work areas tidy.
Required profile
- Adherence to company, safety, and security policies.
- Professional appearance and uniform compliance.
- Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with guests and team members.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift items up to 10 lb.
- Willingness to perform additional duties as directed by supervisors.
