Hotel Butler – Luxury Guest Services

About the role

The Butler will act as an ambassador for the hotel, delivering personalized, high‑end service to guests of the Club Millésime lounge. Working closely with the Butler Supervisor and lounge team, the role ensures every guest experience meets Sofitel’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests personally, escort them to their rooms and present a welcome beverage and chilled towel.
• Prepare rooms according to the “Your Butler is waiting for you” preferences, including amenities, minibar, and any special requests.
• Assist with in‑room check‑in, handling passports, credit cards and documentation.
• Provide concierge services such as restaurant reservations, transportation arrangements and in‑room dining orders.
• Manage guest luggage, offer unpacking, pressing, shoe‑shine and bath preparation services.
• Handle guest complaints professionally, resolve issues and record feedback.
• Coordinate with the lounge, call centre and other departments to fulfil guest requests promptly.
• Maintain strict confidentiality, respect guest privacy and keep accurate records of VIP guests.
• Ensure cleanliness, health‑and‑safety compliance and proper use of equipment and supplies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in luxury hospitality or boutique hotel service.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, friendly, attentive and professional demeanor.
• Strong ability to anticipate guest needs and respond quickly.
• Discretion in handling confidential guest information.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
