Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor (Housekeeping)

About the role

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor ensures that guest rooms, public areas and facilities meet the brand’s quality standards after housekeeping service. This role coordinates daily cleaning activities, communicates with multiple hotel departments and supports the housekeeping team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool areas after cleaning to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies and prioritize cleaning tasks.
• Act as liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to resolve issues and update room assignments.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching housekeeping staff.
• Maintain safety and security procedures, report maintenance problems and ensure uniform appearance.
• Complete required paperwork and communicate shift changes to the next team.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related housekeeping experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a hotel or similar environment.

Required skills

• Proficient computer operation for data entry and reporting.
• Experience using point‑of‑sale or hotel management systems.
