Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor

About the role

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor ensures that guest rooms, public areas and pool facilities meet the brand's quality standards after housekeeping service. The role coordinates daily cleaning priorities, manages room status reports, and acts as a liaison between housekeeping, engineering, front office and laundry teams.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool after cleaning to verify quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify status, identify discrepancies and prioritize cleaning tasks.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to resolve room issues.
• Prepare, distribute and communicate changes in room assignments and shift hand‑overs.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation for departing guest rooms.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related housekeeping or hotel operations experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lb and operate housekeeping equipment.
• Capability to use computers or point‑of‑sale systems for work‑related information.

Required skills

• Computer usage for data entry and reporting.
• Operation of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
