Hotel Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Technician provides on‑site maintenance and repair services for guest rooms and hotel facilities in Dubai. The role ensures prompt resolution of guest requests while maintaining safety, quality and equipment reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment and mechanical room assets.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate and troubleshoot air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Carry out painting, drywall and wood‑trim repairs, and complete thorough clean‑up.
• Replace light bulbs, A/C filters, electrical switches, outlets and program TVs.
• Operate shut‑off valves and utility controls, following Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Perform interior and exterior landscaping repairs, including sprinkler systems.
• Enter maintenance data and adjust air‑handler schedules using computer systems.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation and painting; hotel engineering experience a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
