Hotel Plumber – Maintenance & Repairs

About the role

The Fairmont Bab Al Bahr hotel is seeking a skilled plumber to maintain and repair its extensive plumbing infrastructure, ensuring guest comfort and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment throughout the hotel.
• Diagnose and resolve leaks, blockages, water‑pressure issues and drainage problems.
• Install and replace pipes, valves, faucets, pumps, water heaters and sanitary fixtures as required.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to the hotel’s schedule and respond to guest‑room maintenance requests.
• Coordinate with engineering team on projects, support emergency maintenance 24 hours when assigned, and keep accurate work orders.

Required profile

• High school diploma or technical/vocational certification in plumbing or a related field.
• 2–3 years of plumbing experience, preferably in a hotel, resort or commercial setting.
• Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Good communication skills in English and willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
