Housekeeping Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Housekeeping Coordinator to work closely with the housekeeping supervisor at InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa. The role ensures that housekeeping and laundry operations meet the brand’s high standards and deliver memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all departmental calls, log messages, and communicate requests promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Process work assignments, delegate tasks, and follow up with guests to confirm service quality.
• Coordinate daily room assignments, inspections, evening service duties, and special tasks.
• Maintain accurate inventory of linen and housekeeping supplies, ordering as needed.
• Generate operational reports and maintain updated vendor information.
• Monitor room status, manage out‑of‑order rooms, and ensure security of guest room keys.
• Support housekeeping staff in maintaining clean public and work areas and respond to unexpected spills or special guest requests.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies and perform other duties as required.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in Hotel or Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in a similar role within an international luxury resort chain.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with fluency in written and spoken English.
• Physical fitness to be on feet for extended periods, with reasonable adjustments available.
