Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor will support the Assistant Executive Housekeeper and Senior Housekeeper in delivering exceptional guest experiences at The Lana, a luxury hotel in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily housekeeping operations and ensure rooms, public areas, and staff areas meet Dorchester standards.
• Conduct inspections, enforce corrective actions, and manage controllable expenses.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized cleaning tasks such as marble polishing and carpet shampooing.
• Prepare cyclical cleaning schedules for public areas and liaise with engineering for preventive maintenance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a luxury 5‑star hotel.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast‑changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to lead a multicultural team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Property Management System (PMS) and general computer literacy.
• Ability to conduct inventories and manage equipment, chemicals, and consumables.
