HR Manager – Lead HR Operations Across Group

About the role

Maylaa Group is looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead HR operations across its businesses. Working closely with senior management, the role will shape recruitment, employee relations, performance management and workforce planning while ensuring consistent HR practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the HR team, setting clear responsibilities and service standards.
• Develop and implement group‑wide HR policies, procedures and approval processes.
• Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding and probation reviews.
• Collaborate with department heads on staffing plans to support business growth.
• Review organisational structures, job descriptions and reporting lines.
• Handle employee concerns, grievances, investigations and disciplinary matters confidentially.
• Coach managers on performance, attendance, teamwork and conflict resolution.
• Oversee employee records, attendance, leave, benefits and medical insurance administration.
• Coordinate payroll inputs and final settlements with Finance.
• Ensure compliance with UAE employment regulations and manage visas, work permits and renewals.
• Implement performance reviews, training programmes and employee development plans.
• Support internal promotions, succession planning and Emiratisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years progressive HR experience, including senior HR management roles.
• Proven UAE HR experience with strong knowledge of local employment practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience managing an HR team and partnering directly with senior management.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.

• Ability to produce management reporting.
