HR Project Manager

About the role

Join Etihad and help drive people‑focused projects! You will plan, coordinate and deliver a broad range of HR projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed within agreed timelines, scope and resources. Working closely with HR teams and business stakeholders, you will provide project governance, reporting, documentation and implementation support across the HR project portfolio, with a key focus on the HR Operating Model programme.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and track delivery of projects across the HR roadmap, ensuring progress against plans, milestones and deliverables.
• Support implementation of HR initiatives and change programmes, including the ongoing HR Operating Model project.
• Apply project management standards, governance processes and reporting requirements across HR projects.
• Work with HR teams and cross‑functional stakeholders to manage dependencies and ensure successful delivery of outcomes.
• Prepare project updates and reports, highlighting progress, risks, issues and key decisions for governance forums and leadership teams.
• Proactively escalate risks, issues and delays with mitigation plans to achieve project milestones.
• Partner with HR leadership and HR Technology teams to prioritise and deliver agreed HR initiatives and enhancements.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education in HR, Business, Systems or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project/programme management within HR.
• Practical experience with project management frameworks; certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
• Proven track record of ownership and collaboration with internal and external partners to deliver results.

Required skills

• PMP/PRINCE2 project management methodology.
• Lean Six Sigma experience.
