HSE Manager – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental initiatives on a major construction project in Abu Dhabi. You will work closely with senior site leadership to embed robust safety practices and ensure compliance with local regulations and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Advise senior construction representatives on ESHARP and Parsons SH&E processes, identifying and controlling hazards.
• Develop site‑specific work plans, compliance programs, training and orientation aligned with SH&E regulations.
• Audit projects and worksites, produce written reports, and drive corrective actions.
• Manage occupational injury reporting, conduct incident investigations and root‑cause analyses.
• Analyze trends from audits and incidents, delivering regular performance reports.
• Represent SH&E management during regulatory inspections and liaise with insurance carriers.
• Supervise emergency response and first‑aid teams on site.

Required profile

• Proven experience in occupational health, safety and environment management within construction.
• Strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations and international SH&E standards.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with contractors, project managers and regulatory bodies.
