About the role
Penspen is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead the development and implementation of safety policies, conduct comprehensive risk assessments, ensure full legal compliance, manage incident investigations, and deliver training that fosters a strong safety culture. The role is critical to protecting employees, the environment, and aligning safety performance with business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses for all project activities.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations.
- Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Provide HSE training and awareness programs to staff at all levels.
- Monitor HSE performance metrics and report to senior management.
- Collaborate with project teams on large EPC contracts to integrate HSE requirements.
Required profile
- Engineering degree in any discipline.
- NEBOSH IGC and other relevant HSE certifications.
- Minimum 20 years of overall experience, with at least 10 years in the oil and gas sector.
- Proven experience as HSE Manager on large oil and gas EPC projects.
- Previous approval as an HSE Manager from ADNOC.
- Project Management Consultancy (PMC) experience.
