HSE Trainer

About the role

The HSE Trainer will design, deliver and evaluate Health, Safety & Environment training programmes that meet ADNOC standards, UAE regulations and international best practice. The role ensures that all personnel achieve the required competency through classroom, practical and on‑site sessions while fostering a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver ADNOC‑approved HSE training, inductions, refresher and toolbox sessions.
• Develop training materials, presentations, examinations and practical assessments.
• Maintain training records, competency matrices and monthly KPI reports.
• Support contractor workforce competency assurance programmes.
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE requirements, Life Saving Rules, Permit to Work, WMS, risk assessments, H2S, confined space entry, working at height, lifting operations and emergency response.
• Participate in HSE audits and inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IGC IOSH Managing Safely, Train‑the‑Trainer, HABC/First Aid Trainer, Fire Safety Trainer and, if applicable, Approved ADNOC Instructor.
