HSSE Manager – UAE National (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a senior HSSE leader to shape and drive the Health, Safety, Security and Environmental agenda across our fast‑growing manufacturing operations in the UAE. The role will define strategy, ensure compliance with local and international regulations, and embed a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and align HSSE strategy with business objectives and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defence, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, NFPA, OSHA and ISO standards.
• Maintain and improve HSSE policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Oversee HIRA and JHA processes to identify and mitigate risks.
• Monitor safety metrics such as ASR, AFR and TRIR and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections and compliance reviews across all sites.
• Manage emergency preparedness, crisis response and evacuation planning.
• Ensure effective MSDS management and communication.
• Lead environmental and sustainability compliance initiatives.
• Build and develop the HSSE team, including capability building and workforce planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Environmental Science (Master’s preferred).
• NEBOSH Diploma, OSHA, IOSH and ISO Lead Auditor certifications.
• 10+ years of HSSE experience, with 3–5 years in a leadership role within FMCG/manufacturing in the UAE or GCC.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations (DM, DCD) and international standards (NFPA, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Proven expertise in risk assessment, incident investigation and compliance management.
• Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
