Human Resources Director

About the role

CNTXT AI is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead its people strategy and build a high‑performance organisation that can support rapid growth in the AI and data sector. This strategic, hands‑on role will oversee the full employee lifecycle, from workforce planning and talent acquisition to performance management, compensation, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an HR and people strategy aligned with business objectives, partnering with the CEO and senior leadership.
• Own talent acquisition across technical, product, commercial, operations and corporate functions, building pipelines for AI, engineering and data talent.
• Design and lead company‑wide performance management frameworks, succession planning and career development pathways.
• Build and maintain a high‑performance, collaborative culture, leading engagement and retention initiatives.
• Develop competitive compensation, bonus and benefits structures, conducting market benchmarking.
• Oversee HR operations, onboarding, payroll coordination and ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and Emiratisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or related field.
• 10+ years progressive HR experience, including senior leadership roles such as HR Director or Head of HR.
• Strong knowledge of UAE/GCC employment regulations and experience scaling teams in technology, AI or SaaS organisations.
• Proven track record in talent acquisition, performance management, compensation design and HR operations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to operate strategically and hands‑on.
• Experience managing employee relations and sensitive HR matters confidentially.
