Human Resources Executive – Hotel

About the role

As a Human Resources Executive at DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah Waterfront Hotel & Residences, you will support daily HR operations and help create memorable guest experiences by ensuring a motivated and engaged team. You will act as a key partner to department heads and team members, promoting Hilton’s culture and values.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day HR operations and advise team members and heads of departments on policies, procedures and employment matters.
• Coordinate recruitment, selection, onboarding and internal mobility initiatives to meet manpower requirements.
• Drive employee engagement, recognition and “Heart of House” activities to strengthen Hilton culture.
• Assist with performance management, talent management, succession planning and employee development programmes.
• Oversee learning & development activities and monitor completion of mandatory training.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions and investigations in line with policies and UAE labour law.
• Support payroll, benefits, leave, attendance and other HR administration processes.
• Maintain accurate HR records, ensure confidentiality and compliance with Hilton standards and UAE legislation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality or a related field (advantage).
• Previous experience in an HR coordinator or supervisory role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Good knowledge of HR operations, UAE labour practices, recruitment, employee relations and performance management.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English.
• Good knowledge of HR systems.
