Human Resources Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Human Resources Manager to lead day‑to‑day HR activities for a high‑volume retail workforce. The role focuses on recruitment, payroll, attendance, employee relations and compliance, ensuring the retail team operates smoothly and scales efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning for retail stores.
• Oversee attendance, shift scheduling, leave management and overtime tracking using Roots HCM.
• Coordinate payroll inputs, commission calculations and monthly payroll processing.
• Support performance management, appraisals and employee development initiatives.
• Handle employee relations, grievances and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and retail‑specific regulations.
• Administer off‑boarding, final settlements and HR reporting.
• Drive HR system optimisation and digital HR initiatives.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in retail or high‑volume environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Roots HCM (Leave, Attendance, Payroll modules).
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder‑management abilities.
