HVAC Engineer (Oil & Gas Projects)

About the role
We are seeking a motivated HVAC Engineer to support Oil & Gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The role provides hands‑on experience in design, installation, testing and commissioning while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet international standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review HVAC designs, layouts, equipment selections and technical submittals for Oil & Gas facilities.
- Develop HVAC calculations, cooling load analyses, ventilation designs and duct sizing.
- Supervise site installation activities, ensuring quality compliance and adherence to HSE policies.
- Monitor project progress, resolve technical challenges and coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams.
- Conduct inspections, testing, balancing and commissioning of HVAC systems.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of HVAC experience, preferably in Oil & Gas.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE, SMACNA and NFPA standards.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
Required skills
- AutoCAD
- MS Office
- HVAC calculations and cooling load analysis
- Ventilation design and duct sizing
- Knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA and NFPA standards
- Experience with chilled water, DX, ventilation, smoke extraction and pressurization systems
