HVAC Technician – Equipment Engineering

About the role

The HVAC Technician will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC systems within Julphar’s pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. The role ensures that temperature, humidity, and pressure conditions meet strict cGMP and regulatory standards while monitoring systems through the Building Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot AHUs, FCUs, MAUs, exhaust systems, chillers, cooling towers, and dehumidifiers.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to SOPs and maintenance plans.
• Monitor HVAC performance via BMS (Siemens Desigo CC, Honeywell, Schneider) and respond to alarms and trends.
• Support point‑to‑point checks, loop checks, and system re‑qualification.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, WHO, EU GMP, and FDA requirements, maintaining logbooks, checklists, deviations, and change controls.
• Coordinate with BMS engineers for troubleshooting and system optimisation.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical or HVAC Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or cleanroom HVAC environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Building Management Systems.

Required skills

• HVAC operation and maintenance (AHU, FCU, MAU, chillers, cooling towers, dehumidifiers).
• Building Management System monitoring (Siemens Desigo CC, Honeywell, Schneider).
• Preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• cGMP, WHO, EU GMP, and FDA compliance knowledge.
• ALCOA+ data integrity principles.
