ICT Officer – IT Support & Operations

About the role

We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and service‑oriented ICT Officer to support the organization’s information and communication technology infrastructure, systems, and day‑to‑day operations in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves maintaining IT systems, providing technical support, managing hardware and software, and ensuring reliable technology services across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support daily ICT and IT operations, including hardware, software, and network equipment.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to employees and users.
• Install, configure, maintain, and monitor computers, servers, and network devices.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, passwords, and system privileges.
• Support network connectivity, Wi‑Fi, VPN, printers, and communication systems.
• Monitor system performance, handle hardware/software issues, and maintain accurate ICT asset records.
• Oversee software installations, updates, patches, and system upgrades.
• Support Microsoft 365, email systems, collaboration platforms, and business applications.
• Assist with data backup, recovery, and business‑continuity procedures.
• Implement and monitor basic cybersecurity controls and endpoint security solutions.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers.
• Maintain ICT documentation, technical procedures, and support records.
• Participate in IT procurement, equipment deployment, and technology upgrades.
• Contribute to IT projects, system implementations, and technology improvements.

Required profile

• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, hardware, and software.
• Experience providing technical support in a corporate environment.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an IT team.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
