IGA Technical Consultant (SailPoint IdentityIQ)

About the role

The employer is looking for an IGA Technical Consultant who combines the capabilities of an IGA Engineer and Business Analyst. The role involves hands-on implementation, configuration and support of the SailPoint IdentityIQ solution across enterprise environments, with strong technical depth and good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end implementation of IGA solutions, mainly SailPoint IdentityIQ, including pre-requisite checks (API connectivity, SQL queries, permissions, network access, system readiness)
• Install, configure, upgrade and patch IGA platforms; onboard applications with out-of-the-box and custom connectors; configure identity lifecycle workflows, provisioning policies and access models
• Support SIT, UAT, deployment and post-implementation activities
• Integrate IGA with target systems via REST/SOAP web services, test and troubleshoot APIs, and integrate with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and BMC Helix
• Configure and run access reviews and certifications in SailPoint, support audits and access governance controls
• Maintain IGA components on Linux and Windows, troubleshoot application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere) and work with database systems
• Develop, test and optimise SQL queries, analyse data discrepancies and perform root-cause analysis
• Act as the main technical point of contact, coordinate with application owners, infrastructure teams and security operations, and turn business requirements into technical designs
• Document technical designs, configurations, test plans and results, meeting notes and decision logs to audit-ready standards

Required profile

• SailPoint IQ certified Engineer
• Strong understanding of Java fundamentals and version control systems
• Hands-on experience with IGA platforms, APIs, databases and enterprise infrastructure
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
