About the role

The in‑house legal team is seeking an experienced M&A lawyer to support a leading entity in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on transactions within the energy sector and asset‑management activities, providing strategic legal advice to senior business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and advise on mergers and acquisitions involving energy assets.
• Provide legal support for asset‑management initiatives and related transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with local and international laws.
• Monitor legal developments in the energy and asset‑management sectors.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Training at a leading international or white‑shoe law firm.
• Demonstrated experience advising on M&A matters within the energy sector.
• Experience in asset‑management legal work.
