Inclusion Assistant – School Support Role

About the role

The school is looking for an Inclusion Assistant to support pupils with additional learning, physical, emotional or behavioural needs at Rabdan Charter School in Abu Dhabi for the academic year 2026/27. Working closely with teachers and external professionals, you will help students fully participate in classroom and extracurricular activities while promoting independence and progress towards their IEP goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to pupils inside and outside the classroom, adapting activities to meet individual needs.
• Assist teachers in preparing differentiated resources and maintaining accurate pupil records.
• Implement and monitor individual education programmes, linking daily tasks to IEP objectives.
• Collaborate with speech, occupational and other therapists to reinforce targeted strategies.
• Promote health and safety, punctuality, and a professional dress code.
• Attend training sessions, staff meetings and professional development events as required.
