Income Auditor

About the role

The Income Auditor ensures that all hotel revenue transactions are accurately recorded, reconciled and reported. Working within the finance team at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, you will safeguard the integrity of financial data and support month‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that all transactions are posted to the correct accounts.
• Reconcile daily revenue against PMS, POS, payment systems and supporting documents.
• Review cash, credit‑card, bank and other payment transactions for accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between revenue reports and source records.
• Check room rates, discounts, complimentary rooms, voids, rebates, refunds and allowances for compliance.
• Prepare and distribute daily revenue and income audit reports to Finance and management.
• Monitor unusual transactions, variances or irregularities and report them.
• Maintain accurate audit documentation and supporting schedules.
• Assist with month‑end closing, revenue reconciliation and accruals.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required reports and documentation.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Income Audit, Night Audit or Accounts.
• Good knowledge of hotel PMS and POS systems.
• Strong Excel and reconciliation skills.
• Attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Knowledge of hotel revenue accounting and internal controls.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and follow through to resolution.
