Indirect & Logistics Commodity Manager

About the role

The Indirect & Logistics Commodity Manager will lead the development and execution of category strategies for indirect spend and logistics across the Americas region, supporting global procurement initiatives. This role focuses on managing a spend portfolio of $20‑40 M, driving cost savings, risk mitigation and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead cross‑functional category teams for ocean, air and parcel transportation.
• Develop long‑term category strategies, sourcing, negotiation and contracting plans aligned with global objectives.
• Analyse historical spend, market data and cost models to identify high‑value opportunities.
• Create and maintain total landed cost and total cost of ownership models.
• Support matrixed global procurement partners and provide leadership to stakeholders.
• Manage preferred supplier programs to ensure continuity, performance and best pricing.
• Collaborate with value‑stream partners to improve performance and reduce friction for customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement, indirect spend or logistics sourcing.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams in a matrix environment.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
