Industrial Designer – Cosmetic Packaging

About the role

Hudabeauty is seeking a passionate Industrial Designer to create innovative primary and secondary packaging for cosmetics. You will work within the Packaging Development department, collaborating with marketing, R&D, engineering and suppliers to bring brand‑defining products to market.

Key responsibilities

• Design user‑centric packaging concepts for makeup, skincare, fragrance and accessories, producing mood boards, sketches, 2D renderings and 3D models.
• Create detailed technical drawings, dimensioned component plans and Bills of Materials, and conduct functional analysis, tolerance stacks and Design FMEA.
• Lead the 3D lab to produce internal mock‑ups, present concepts to stakeholders and ensure design intent through development and industrialisation.
• Stay abreast of beauty, material and sustainability trends and contribute to packaging innovation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Product Design.
• 3+ years of industrial design experience, preferably in cosmetics, luxury or FMCG.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical packaging work.
• Detail‑oriented, curious and passionate about beauty and consumer experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks and KeyShot (or similar 3D design software).
• Advanced use of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of ISO functional dimensioning standards and technical drawing interpretation.
• Experience with manufacturing processes such as injection molding, metal and glass decoration.
• Ability to create BOMs, perform tolerance analysis and conduct Design FMEA.
