Industrial Technician / Electrician

About the role

The Industrial Technician/Electrician will ensure the safe and efficient operation of factory machinery and production equipment at our Sharjah facility. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems. The role supports production lines by minimizing downtime and maintaining equipment reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and address mechanical, electrical or pneumatic breakdowns.
• Diagnose equipment faults using hand tools and digital diagnostic devices.
• Install, calibrate and test new hardware or industrial systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and service reports.
• Coordinate with production supervisors to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, including lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma plus a technical certificate or associate degree in industrial technology or engineering.
• 2‑5 years of hands‑on experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy parts, stand for long periods and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Required skills

• Understanding of electrical circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical assemblies.
• Proficiency with hand tools and digital diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.
