Information Security Engineer Internship (AppSec) 2027

About the role

Revolut is looking for an Application Security Engineering Intern to join its Technology team in Dubai for the 2027 Internship Programme. You will work on real security projects, run scans, and help protect the company’s software from vulnerabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Run SAST and DAST security scans to identify vulnerabilities and OWASP issues.
• Review system configurations using provided checklists.
• Document findings from security tests and share them with senior engineers.
• Research emerging security threats and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
• Participate in security training sessions and team discussions.
• Support developers by flagging security issues and suggesting improvements.
• Learn from senior engineers and receive feedback on your work.

Required profile

• Penultimate‑year student in Computer Science, Maths, Physics or a related field (graduating 2028).
• On track for a 2:1 degree or equivalent.
• Portfolio of coding side projects or open‑source contributions.
• Proactive, results‑driven mindset.
• Fluent English with strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, diverse team.
• Full‑time availability for Summer 2027.
• Willingness to work on‑site at least three days per week (hybrid model).
