Information Security Engineer Internship – Operations (2027)

About the role

Revolut’s Technology team is looking for an Information Security Engineering Intern to support monitoring, detection, and response activities that keep its systems and data safe. You will work alongside experienced Security Engineers, gaining hands‑on experience in security operations over an 8‑10 week paid programme.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new capabilities for the security monitoring and response platform.
• Monitor and analyse security alerts to identify potential threats.
• Respond to security incidents and collaborate with engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
• Automate and improve security monitoring, analysis, and response processes.
• Support threat‑hunting initiatives and design data‑driven solutions for risk detection.
• Learn and apply cutting‑edge tools and technologies for security analysis and remediation.
• Share updates with global teams and receive regular feedback from senior engineers.

Required profile

• Penultimate‑year student in Computer Science, Information Security, Cyber Security or a related field, graduating in 2028.
• On track for a 2:1 degree or equivalent.
• Interest or experience in software engineering (Python) and data analysis.
• Proactive mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English with good communication and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, diverse team environment.
• Full‑time availability for Summer 2027.
• Willingness to work on‑site at least three days per week in Dubai.
