Information Technology Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Information Technology Coordinator to join our team at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort in Ras Al Khaimah. You will provide first‑level technical support, manage IT assets and ensure the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support to end‑users, troubleshooting hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Manage and monitor the IT ticketing system, prioritising requests and tracking resolutions.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, peripherals, software applications and perform routine system updates and patches.
• Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment, licenses and software assets.
• Coordinate with internal IT staff and external vendors to resolve complex technical problems.
• Document procedures, solutions and system configurations for knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in IT support, help‑desk or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Knowledge of network fundamentals and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with Active Directory user account management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
• Understanding of virtualization technologies.
• Experience using IT ticketing and asset‑management systems.
