Information Technology Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Information Technology Coordinator to join our team at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort in Ras Al Khaimah. The role involves providing first‑level technical support, maintaining hardware and software assets, and ensuring smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support to end‑users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly.
• Manage and monitor the IT ticketing system, prioritising requests and tracking resolution progress.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, peripherals, and software applications across the organisation.
• Perform routine system maintenance, updates and patches to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of IT equipment, licences and software assets.
• Document technical procedures, solutions and system configurations for future reference.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, help‑desk or a similar technical support role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of network fundamentals and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with IT ticketing and asset‑management systems.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
• Understanding of virtualization technologies and IT security principles.
