Information Technology Engineer – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Engineer to join our team in Jumeirah, Dubai. The role involves managing on‑premises and Microsoft cloud solutions and may require travel to an offshore oil facility.

Key responsibilities

• Installation, configuration, clustering and hardening of Windows Server.
• Active Directory and Group Policy Object (GPO) management.
• Administration of Microsoft Exchange (Hybrid) and Microsoft 365 suite (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, Defender, Purview).
• Management of Microsoft Azure and Entra ID.
• System Center Suite (SCCM, SCOM) administration.
• HPE rackmount, blade and Synergy server management, including MSA storage.
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions (Commvault, Veeam, Arctera Enterprise Vault).
• Infrastructure monitoring (Solarwinds) and endpoint protection (Symantec).
• Mobile device management, email gateway, event log and patch management (SCCM, Ivanti).
• ITIL‑based incident and problem management.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience managing on‑premises and Microsoft cloud solutions.
• Willingness to travel to an offshore oil facility by boat or helicopter (transport arranged by client).
