Information Technology Executive

About the role

The Information Technology Executive will lead daily IT operations for Kanz Jewels across its multiple retail outlets and workshop in Dubai. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures reliable hardware, software, and network services while supporting staff with technical assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software systems.
• Manage user accounts and enforce access controls.
• Ensure stable LAN/WAN and Wi‑Fi connectivity across all locations.
• Provide first‑line technical support and coordinate issue resolution.
• Monitor system performance and implement security best practices.
• Oversee data backup, recovery procedures, and disaster‑recovery planning.
• Collaborate with management on technology upgrades and business‑growth initiatives.
• Document IT procedures, create user guides, and train staff on tools.
• Liaise with external vendors for procurement and support.

Required profile

• Strong background in IT operations and enterprise system management.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting experience for hardware and software.
• Network administration skills covering LAN/WAN and Wi‑Fi.
• Knowledge of IT security, data backup, and user access management.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities to work with non‑technical teams and vendors.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft or Cisco are a plus.
• Experience in a retail or multi‑location environment, especially supporting point‑of‑sale systems, is beneficial.
