Information Technology Support Engineer

About the role

The Information Technology Support Engineer provides day‑to‑day technical assistance across the business, ensuring all IT hardware, software and network services operate smoothly at our Sharjah and Khor Fakkan sites.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to IT assistance requests in line with the department SLA.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and business‑application issues.
• Manage and maintain terminal Wi‑Fi, RDT, CCTV and other site equipment.
• Keep the IT asset inventory up‑to‑date and perform periodic maintenance.
• Install, configure and support computers, printers, copiers and mobility devices according to company policies.
• Ensure business applications are installed, updated and backed up.
• Handle site IT procurement requests and monitor IT infrastructure services.
• Implement corporate IT policies and educate users on system usage.
• Support the Information Security Management System (ISO/IEC 27001) through policy implementation, compliance monitoring, risk assessments, audits and incident reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
